A library can be a sanctuary of intellect and imagination, where one is empowered, enlightened, and illuminated. At Columbia College Chicago, we invite you to our Library to explore a new world of knowledge and information.
Our collection includes print, digital, audiovisual, and electronic resources focusing on visual and performing arts, media, and communications; a one-of-a-kind collection of art and photography books; and dozens of special collections such as film scripts, artist's books, and music scores. But there is so much more room for growth.
The mission of our new Columbia College Chicago Friends of the Library program, founded in 2005, is to build and enhance important library collections, and in doing so, support the academic, cultural, and intellectual needs of those who have chosen our student-centered institution. Everyone can be a friend.
The purpose of the Friends of the Library is to gather, engage, and maintain a robust association of individuals interested in strengthening the collections of the Columbia College Chicago Library through financial and in-kind donations.
Who are the Friends of the Library?
